Amy is the founder and principal physio at Surgical Rehab Specialists.

Amy graduated with a BHSc (Physiotherapy) in 2011. Since then she has worked in the musculoskeletal field, and has developed a strong interest in diagnostics, biomechanics, sports-specific physiotherapy and surgical rehabilitation. After seeing a need for patients to be provided with quality care before and after surgery, Surgical Rehab Specialists was born.

Amy has dedicated a lot of her time and learning in the area of surgical management - having spent hours observing Auckland's top surgeons at work and reviewing their rehabilitation protocols. Amy has carried out extensive post-graduate training in dry needling, as well as achieving her Certified Mulligan Practitioner qualification.

Outside of work, Amy is a competitive horse rider in Showjumping and Eventing. She also enjoys keeping fit at the gym, and is a keen foodie, as well as loving a drop of wine. She is Head Coach at her local pony club, and enjoys helping people in any way she can.

Patrick graduated from AUT in 2011, with a BHSc (Physiotherapy), then continued on to post graduate study in Acupuncture and gained CMP status. Patrick has recently returned to New Zealand, after a 2 year stint in London. During that time, he increased his experience in sports medicine, working in various sports physiotherapy practices.
